WAR AT THE SHORE X A HUGE SUCCESS!!
Sharks, Knights, Wildcats and Warriors triumphant!
The AMNRL celebrated ten years of Rugby League in America in style with wonderful summer weather in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. The biggest ever crowd at the annual seaside event were treated to a feast of entertaining Rugby League and a fantastic day of off field fun and excitement for families and fans from all around the east coast.
The Sharks and Knights were victorious in game one and two, and the much needed victories will help them climb up the ladder in the race for the post season. The Wildcats and Warriors scored emphatic wins in the two final games of the day with the teams from Connecticut displaying a combination of power and skill to post big wins and send a wave of excitement all the way up the Garden State Parkway.
With the event proudly sponsored by 42 Below Vodka along with support from Red Bull and Stella Artois, players and fans were able to share in the prizes and giveaways.

Fight v Sharks - Fred Backhaus (Sharks) Knights v Slayers - Adam Nable (Knights) Wildcats v Bulls - Steve Annunzio (Wildcats)
Warriors v Axemen - Siose Muliumu (Warriors)
The prestigious Robert Preston Memorial Award for the Tournament MVP was won by Sharks International Phil Shipos who turned in a stellar performance for the Sharks in their victory over the Fight in game one.
