DC Slayers' Kickoff Party is a huge success

The DC Slayers would like to say thanks for all the people that came out to support the 2006 Season Kickoff Party. Good times were had by all and we were even invited back by the bar. Not bad for a rugby team.

The goals of the kickoff party were to raise awareness about Rugby League, recruit potential players, and have a good time. We were successful in all categories.

Last year was a tough year for the Slayers player wise and we are determined to reverse that trend and make DC a great rugby league city.

Fitness Corps is an outdoor-based fitness program designed to help people lose weight, gain muscle tone, achieve health and fitness goals, and most importantly, feel good about themselves. Classes meet for one hour at locations throughout DC, Bethesda, Virginia and Georgetown and are led by ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified trainers.
